Aftercluv is seeking an ambitious and eager Marketing Coordinator for its US division, with a passion and knowledge of dance & electronic music. This role will include, but is not limited to:
Assistant to Managing Director
Marketing budget management
Domestic and International Marketing, Brand Partnerships and Event Planning. Coordination of marketing plans in the US and international, communication with our offices in 9 countries, monitoring of marketing campaigns, travel coordination for our artists, creation of deck presentations, event planning and coordination, creation of marketing and advertising materials. The ideal candidate is a greatly organized, highly motivated, creative with an entrepreneurial spirit, great networking in the electronic dance world/industry, be able to work in an intercultural environment, have a positive attitude and be a team player.
1. Assistant to Managing Director
o Manage and master the calendar
o Organize conference calls, meetings and appointments
o Arrange travel and do T&E reports
o Takes minutes/notes of meetings
Qualities: Highly organized and professional, great communication skills, anticipates the needs, follows through, integrity and confidentiality, focus and persistence.
2. Marketing Budget Management
o Marketing budget quarterly planning, monitor and control.
o Purchase order creation
o Primary contact with vendors, negotiates with them, sets them up in the system, follows up to invoice payments
o Creates bi-weekly budget status reports
o Is the liaison between the Label and the Finance department
Qualities: Highly organized, good with numbers, creates excellent reports, good negotiation skills3. USA and International Marketing, Brand Partnerships and Event Management
Plan and execute marketing plans for the US, engage with media, blogs, radio promoters, record pools. Create advertising and social media strategies and copies, create press releases.
Coordinate International marketing within the Latin America and Iberian Peninsula region
Plan and execute events, parties
Actively seek for brand partnerships, create deck presentations
Create and develop ideas for the label brand and its various platforms (TV and radio shows, online vertical, special events, etc.)
Coordinate travel for our artists
Work with video producers, create video content
Effectively communicate with artists and their management
Qualities: creative thinker, problem solver, patience, personality, good aesthetic, curious, knowledgeable of creative landscape, great networking skills, excellent writer.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, must have the ability to write and convey marketing strategies to the teams within the label, as well as to management and the artist.
Must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish.
Essential platforms knowledge: Spotify, Apple Music, Shazam, Online Advertising, Youtube, Google and Facebook Analytics, Digital Media savvy.
Photoshop and video editing basic knowledge.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow through.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, collaboration and the ability to establish quick rapport.
Ability to work in a fast pace under pressure.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative.
Demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to high quality work.
Ability to keep information highly confidential.
Aware of trends in fashion, music and culture.
Passion for music and even more for dance music.
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing in the entertainment industry.
Dance-electronic music insight is crucial.
