Overview

– Marketing/Social media intern candidate should have ample knowledge of Electronic/Dance music, both in the US and internationally. Wide knowledge of Electronic music and artists across all genres is essential, as well as about music events, festivals, current releases from related labels, news about the scene, etc. Candidate must have strong research and writing skills, as well as proficiency on social media marketing strategies, outlets like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and developing platforms like Twitch, Periscope, etc.

You will be responsible for:

Updating streaming outlets like SoundCloud, YouTube, and Spotify, among others.
Developing and tracking giveaways and other promotional social media contests.
Coming up with marketing and promotional ideas for campaigns.
Research digital marketing opportunities and trends.
Assisting in the optimization of outlets like SoundCloud and YouTube.
Tracking and reporting on campaigns.
Implementing Social Media schedules for label and artists.
Identify assets and writing copy for Social Media posts.
Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
Assist in digital advertising planning.
Interact and engage with audiences to grow online presence.

Requirements!

Social Media background.
Excellent written communication skills.
Provide samples that show your best writing.
College major with a focus in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations, as well as prior experience a plus.
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and e-mail programs a must. Proficiency in graphics design programs a plus.

We are an independent record label with a focus on EDM music. We have released and worked with many artists such as Deorro, J-Trick, Lady Bee, FTampa, Feliciana, Barely Alive, SpekrFreks, FARLEON, and many more. We are currently looking for a few new interns to join our team that have the same ambition and drive that we have. This is a part time paid internship, 1-3 days a week to start with a chance for more days depending on performance.
