Overview

•To ensure that the staff is following and enforcing Clevelander rules, policies and procedures

Duties: Duties and Responsibilities:
•Delivers an enthusiastic, professional greeting to guests upon arrival and departure
•Ensures area around entrances is clean, safe and secure
•Builds relationships with patrons that add to the guest experience
•Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures
•Investigates all guests and staff complaints and observations
•To serve as a link between the rest of the management team and the staff
•Ensures that the department’s equipment is maintained, in good working order, and makes the necessary arrangements for repairs when needed
•In charge of maintaining a confidential trend-file of any and all associate’s involved in reported losses, theft and/or fraud
•Makes unannounced spot checks on staff performance at varying times and days
•Reports and notify management with regards to incidents involving guests or patrons

•Ability to work in a team environment
•Ability to verbally communicate and take direction
•Ability to multi task in high volume and fast paced work environment
•Ability to remain calm in high stress situations
•Strong attention to detail required

Working Conditions:
•Work is regularly not performed in an office environment. Position is required to be visible throughout the hotel property to the customer, guests and associates. The position requires evening, weekend and holiday hours/shifts.
•Extended periods of walking and standing are required.
•Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and smoke, the severity of which depends upon Guest volume.
•Involves constant public contact and continuous exemplary service.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
•At least 21 years of age, High school diploma preferred
•Excellent ID checking skills
• 2 years previous Safety & Risk Management experience
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Basic knowledge of word processors and windows based computers
•Basic First Aid/CPR certified
•State certified and licensed
