The Role:
We’re looking for an intern to join the Live Nation content team to assist in various day-to-day editorial duties. As part of the content team you will be immersed in a fast-paced and constantly evolving atmosphere.  Do you have a way with words? Eye for design? This intern will do it all. On a daily basis you will research live music, write blog posts, conceive and develop editorial ideas and facilitate with community management.

Job Requirements :
Responsibilities:

  • Write copy
  • Photo edit
  • Work with platform and custom content management systems
  • Proactively communicate status of projects to supervisors and key stakeholders as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school
  • Must be eligible for school credit (and able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the live music industry
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive
  • General knowledge or willingness to learn Adobe Photoshop
  • Must be committed to being in-office 20-40 hours/week
  • Demonstrate technical, creative and professional expertise

Not required, but a plus:

  • Previous experience with blog writing, copy editing, AP style
  • Attention to detail, ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Willingness to take initiative on projects

This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 20 per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.
