Overview

Dim Mak Records is seeking Streaming Services interns. Applicants should be available to work out of our Downtown LA office 2-3 days for at least 16-20 hours per week for college credit.

Streaming Services intern candidate should have knowledge of the Dim Mak brand, as well as of the electronic music community as a whole. Knowledge of electronic music and artists across all genres is a must, as well as having their finger on the pulse of major events, festivals, and releases outside of Dim Mak, news pertaining to the electronic community, etc.

Qualifications:

-Strong research and communication skills

-Knowledge of electronic music artists & genres

-Knowledge of DSP functionality (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Deezer, 8tracks, etc.)

-Knowledge of major events, festivals, releases

Responsibilities:

-Curate playlists across all DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Deezer, 8tracks, etc.)

-Analyze statistics for recently released projects.

-Track Spotify playlist placements for recently released projects.

-Update internal worksheets that are used to strategize promotional ideas linked to streaming services.

-Stay up to date with competitive releases across our market.

Requirements:

-Local to LA

-Enrolled in bachelor’s program

-Receive school credit

-Commit to 2-3 days/week in office from 10am-6pm
