Sales and Production Intern

Dim Mak Records is seeking an intern to the Operations & Production team whose role is to maximize the sales of music through online services. Applicants should be available to work out of our Downtown LA office 2-3 days for at least 16 hours per week or more.  Must be able to receive college credit.

Knowledge of electronic music and artists across genres is important, as well as having a finger on the pulse of major events and festivals, releases outside of Dim Mak, news pertaining to the electronic community, etc. Specifically, the duties of the distribution and production intern are as follows:

•MP3 creation and uploads to Soundcloud and Hightail

•Collect and upload marketing drivers to Google Forms

•Metadata / label copy creation and maintenance

•Scan for and record retail wins on new release days

•Compile download and/or streaming sales numbers from our distributor’s backend for weekly sales reports

•Help manage artist/release assets including masters, artwork, label copy

•Assist with setting up releases via distributor backends
Requirements:

•Proficient knowledge of EDM (and Dim Mak catalog a plus)

•Detail-oriented, organized

•Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
