Overview

The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR team and for various HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, as well as recognition and reward programming. Activities and duties include reception, maintaining filing systems, mail distribution, processing financial transactions and invoices for payment, ensuring hiring paperwork is complete, managing MBTA pass and special check distribution programs, securing reference and verification information, tracking of exit interview data, generating reports from database systems, maintaining integrity of license verification systems, updating internet and intranet content, and assisting current employees and applicants for employment with their information needs. Assist with new staff orientation and other in-service programming. Will maintain and update HR document needs and order office supplies..
