The kind of stuff you’ll be doing…

Rdio is looking for an inspired mobile engineer to help build better music apps for Microsoft developer technologies. You’ll be helping develop our Windows Phone 8 app, maintain our desktop Windows WPF app and work on other green-field XAML projects.
The kind of skill & experience we expect…

Must have 2+ years of working knowledge in XAML platforms such Windows Phone, Silverlight, WPF, WinRT for Windows 8, Xbox and others

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with C# and language idioms

Solid grasp of .net framework concepts such as threading, persistence, memory management, UI development, and OO design

Interest in learning and developing on new platforms

Must care about quality, from user experience, to pixel perfect design, to testing

Bonus experience…

iOS and Android app development experience

Extra brownie points if you’ve used Xamarin iOS or Android technologies

Links to sample code or mobile apps created

Open source contributions

An app in iTunes, Android or Windows Market

Experience developing media software
