We’re currently looking for someone to join our one of a kind People Team. We care about people and the experience SoundClouders have above all. We are constantly pushing the bar for programs that engage people at work, and creating space that is both functional and inspiring.

We need someone extraordinary to run our U.S. facilities, office, and employee experience programs. Based in New York, you’ll be in charge of SoundCloud’s quickly scaling US operations – in charge of all that awesome space and all those amazing programs. You’ll develop and execute the office vision, and help make SoundCloud the coolest working environment in America. (But, let’s aim for the world!)

Responsibilities:

Execute on SoundCloud’s vision for world-class offices in the USA. (Think ad tech, start-up.)
Work closely with the Global Office Manager to project manage the design, construction, and logistics of future office moves.
Manage US office personnel, and teams of service contractors/vendors
Build processes, manage vendor relationships, as well as oversee complex budgets and contracts
Team with other department managers at SoundCloud to ensure space and program adaptation
Partner with the global office team to establish a “One SoundCloud” presence worldwide.
Requirements:

Huge heart for people and building an inspiring workplace
Native English speaker, comfortable in a multicultural environment
5-7 years previous facility management experience or similar
Proven project management skills
Experience managing a team
Strong social and communication skills, especially with tech companies and engineers.
Excellent computer skills (preferably Mac)
Background in the field of hospitality and/or events organization or design is a plus
