Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Nightlife Marketing s core responsibility is to oversee the development and
execution of marketing, event strategies, and programs that meet the organization s overall objectives and
financial goals while keeping the brand to the standard of the company s direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
– Oversees the Nightlife Marketing team including respective Nightlife Marketing Managers and Marketing
Supervisors
– Execute the messages from the VP of Marketing down to the team
– Oversee the event calendars and event approvals
– Oversee the Nightlife Marketing set forth by the executive team
– Oversee and create strategic events based upon overall calendar, history, & venue needs
– Work in conjunction with the VP s and Executive Directors as strategic partners developing annual
marketing plans per venue
– Suggests talent and liaise with the director of Talent
– Develop event budgets
– Manage client venue relationships
– Work in conjunction with sponsorship team to leverage and maximize the company s sponsorship
capabilities
– Work in conjunction with media partners to leverage and maximize event activation opportunities and
value ads
– Closely monitor competitors programming and venue activities
– Develop event advertising needs and coordinators with venue marketing team to execute as directed
– Liaise with promotions teams (internal, external), informs on promotional rules and communicates
information back to appropriate personnel
– Liaise with VIP Services and Executive Management to maximize price yielding opportunities
– Work to create new sources of customers through building professional networks and complementary
partnerships
– Aid in the development of brand strategies and managing tactical execution for the venue
– Aid in the overall development of new event brands and assists with building and executing
pre/during/post launch marketing activities
– Manage re-branding / re-positioning efforts when needed and enforces brand standards
– Assist in developing branded guests experiences for venues and oversees the overall customer
journey/experience
– Assist and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
Controlling Department Costs:
– Maintain effective cost for necessary Accounting supplies
– Report all accounting expenses to VP of Operations and Executive Director of Marketing
– Manage the budget set by the executive committee
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor s Degree in Marketing or a similar discipline required
– 5+ years experience in nightlife and/ or hospitality
– Experience in management and administration preferably in the entertainment industry, or equivalent
combination of education and experience
– Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
– Valid Driver s License
– 21+ years of age
– Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standardsWORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
– Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, POS systems
– Understanding the core city dynamics
– Knowledge of competitors in his or her industry
