Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist coordinates the implementation of people-related services,
policies, and programs and assists and advises company managers about HR issues. The HR Generalist will
interpret and educate the management team on policies and partner closely with management and
employees at various levels in the organization to provide HR support and solutions. The HR Generalist will
perform a variety of HR functions to include talent acquisition, on-boarding, benefits, compensation,
payroll, and policy and procedure development and writing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
– Complete unemployment claims
– Complete employment verifications
– Administer and maintain leave of absence claims
– SPI/for cause terminations assistance
– Assist with silent whistle claims
– Assist with IRS/TRDA review
– Assist with EEOC/NLRB claims
– Assist with union grievances
– Assist with investigations
– Assist with all employee relations
– Provide management support for policy/ procedure and union contract interpretation
– Provide support for other various HR areas
– Assist and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
– High School Diploma Required
– College Degree preferred
– 2+ years of experience as a Generalist with Union labor relations (Las Vegas a plus)
– 2+ years of general employee relations experience
– 2+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now v. 2.0 or higher
– 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
– Nightlife and/ or restaurant experience is a plus
– PHR or SPHR Certified is a plus
– Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
– Valid Driver s License
– 21+ years of age
– Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
– Base knowledge of the Culinary Bargaining Agreement
– Fundamental experience in Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, benefits, compensation, payroll, and
policy and procedure development and writing
– Understanding of HR s role as a partner to the business and possess the ability to work with
counterparts in Operations
– Proficient in, Microsoft Office Suite
