Summary of the role:

To manage all central group marketing activity including websites, social media, digital TV and internet radio, mobile applications and online marketing platforms in existing and new international markets. To lead and manage all areas of business development with specific focus on content exploitation through new digital services, including delivery of an ad-funded music service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, lead and manage group marketing strategy in liaison with the CEO and department managers
• Work closely with the CEO on all digital business development and develop content strategies across all digital platforms
• Lead design thinking and ensure success of product innovation and digital initiatives
• Stay current on the latest technologies and identify new opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, deliver and execute successful marketing campaigns and measure ROI
• Ensure alignment between the digital marketing strategy and the overall corporate marketing strategy
• Develop and manage all streaming activity, establishing a global strategy for MoS
• Manage the Digital Marketing Manager, overseeing all digital and social marketing activity for the group
• Manage Website and set the strategy for the group including overseeing design and maintenance
• Build marketing platforms to drive sales in new international markets, with immediate focus on USA and Germany
• Manage all online digital channels (including management of YouTube) maximising audience reach and income
• Manage the Radio team, developing the department as a key international marketing function
• Manage all customer data acquisition, manipulation and activation for the group
• Manage application strategy across all platforms including, mobile, web and TV
• Manage online communities, taking direction from Business Development consultant


• Extensive marketing communications background with products and services in a B2C environment
• Deep understanding of all digital marketing and product experiences and an understanding of how they connect brands and consumers
• Successful track record of delivering digital programs, products and services
• Extensive experience working with creative and/or technical development of web-based solutions, technology and emerging media
• Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal and presentational
• Preferably from a music, creative or media-related industry
• Experience of working for an international company within a global environment
• Strong creative background and network
• Management-level experience in a digital environment with particular focus on web, mobile, social media
• High level of numeracy
• Self Motivated
