Overview
The Door Host is responsible for serving each and every customer efficiently, while also adhering to established procedures for the preparation, service and close out of each transaction.
Responsibilities:
Check in and tally Promoter and Staff guest list
Selling tables from the guest-list and general admission lines
Identify quality girl groups and potential early bird groups from the guest-list and general admission lines and coordinate with the girl guy to expedite the groups to tables
Ensure that all guests are in proper dress code according to Hyde Bellagio dress code
Keeping guests informed of wait times
Communicating with door manager about capacity and pacing the line
Wrist banding guests that are part of promotions
Knowledgeable of all weekly promotions and events
Point person for convention promotions
Direct guests to the proper entry lines or table pen
Maintain traffic flow at the entry point of Hyde Bellagio
Qualifications:
Must have previous experience with Nightclub front door operations
Must exhibit the ability to work well with others.
Must exhibit a focused attention to detail, while working in a high-pressure environment.
Must be able to maintain excellent customer service skills while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.
Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral. Multilingual skills are a plus.
Must possess a valid Nevada non-gaming card, alcohol awareness card and a health department card.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
Must be able to stand or walk a maximum eight-hour shift.
Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
Must maintain a pleasant, outgoing and energetic personality.
Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights and dust and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
