Video Production & Editing – Photographer/Videographers
Position: Paid Internship
Reports to: Director of International Relations
Location: Based in Miami Florida USA
We are looking for interns with visuals basic editing skills with photo editing software. Producing videos and editing duties are part of the job and hiring will be contingent upon performance within three months.
Our parent company is a Venture Capital, Private Equity firm in New York.

So far we have distributed around 7,000 tracks over the years through several labels.
We also manage several record labels, music publishing operations, manage few DJs and singers, music distribution, recording studio, a photo & video studio and a Booking & Events department.

Interning for A-Venture Capital
The Production & Editing Internship is designed to help students to break into the music, film and entertainment industry. The internship will provide the candidates with wide range of experience and opportunities to be involved in everyday operations of A-venture Capital’s sisterhood company that is mainly focused on music, animation & entertainment internationally. This program is designed for emerging video editors wishing to further their practical experience. Candidates will be working closely with our 3D animation team producing visual effects in a video format. Significant prior training or experience is required. If you recently finish school and are looking to build your portfolio and begin a career in music and film industry, this opportunity will help you get involved in music and movie-music and animations related projects internationally. The candidates are expected to have great email & oral communicational skills.
The Video Production & Editing Intern will:
• Work closely with 3D animation team producing visual effects
• Monitor and revise dialogue, sound effects and graphics
• Compile current clips and create a final product of shots from raw camera footage
• On occasion travel to several destinations to film
• Provide creative ideas for video footage and provide solutions to improve quality of the final piece
• Create and maintain in-house video library
Work closely with Marketing Team to bring forward company brand in each video

Requirements
You must be fluent in English (other languages a plus), and have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
You must have a good knowledge of the clubbing and electronic music scene, and a good understanding of the music industry in general.
You must show a particular interest in Dance Music
You must be able to work alone as well as part of a team.
You must be organized and able to work under pressure.
A first experience in the music business and an already existing network of contacts in the industry is not necessary.
Must have your own equipment set up
Must have photo software and understand the editing process
Must be available for events when called upon. Reasonably advanced notice will be given .
Internship will last three months and hiring opportunity will be based upon performance.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience with making visual effects using digital non-linear editing software
• Knowledge of various analog, digital output and storage formats
• Must be team oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong professional ethics and a commitment to confidentiality
Would prefer students that require college credit but not mandatory.
