My name is Adam Higgins and I’m a 21 year old graduate from Worcester Park, Surrey. I hold a keen interest in Music, Gaming, Football and Fashion.
My strengths are being punctual, coping with deadlines, working well within a team and being polite towards others.

Employment

All employment has been part-time due to educational commitments.

• Chessington World of Adventures Ride Attendant 2014-2014
An attendants job is to get guests on and off the ride, ensuring they are safe and secure throughout their ride and also help guests with any queries they have about the park.

• BHS Café 2015-2016
My role as a café worker involved me cooking and preparing food, making drinks and arranging stock. I also learnt how to deal with different customer queries as this was a different field of work to my previous employment.

• Chessington World of Adventures Rides Operator 2016-2016
Being a rides operator involves controlling the ride, whilst watching the station and the CCTV around the wide ensuring that it is running efficiently and safely. I also had to monitor the attendants, making sure they are loading the ride properly and look out for them if any situations occur with a guest.

• Chessington World of Adventures Senior Rides Operator 2017-2018
A Senior Ride Operator has the same roles and responsibilities as a normal operator but can operate and manage higher grade rides. They can also train new operators on rides too.

The main skills I learnt throughout these jobs was how to overcome problems in intense situations, improve my team work skills and communication, understand what a customer wants and how to deliver that and finally experience what it is like to work in a professional manner.

Work Experience

ACS International School Cobham: Working alongside the Head of Property, I had experience in dealing with situations in meetings, producing building plans using CAD (Computer Aided Design) and develop my skills in time management.

Crown Lane Studios Morden: Worked as an assistant to a producer in a studio, recording different artists and learning new production techniques and terminologies.
