Communications and Marketing

Develop and manage marketing plans for a wide range of events, programs and courses.  Create, update and build verbiage and aesthetics for websites, email communications and course PowerPoint lectures. Work with committees on providing content for newsletters. Edit and proofread written communications, including email blasts, website content, newsletters, articles, press releases and annual directories. Work as liaison with industry news forums, publishers and broadcasters to market and present webinars and white papers. Control company social media sites.

Professional Development

Develop and implement educational programs, including content development, continuing education credit approval and promotion. Reach out to industry leaders asking them to provide live online seminars and information and material for courses or course lectures. Track and submit educational credits for multiple continuing education programs, including certified licenses through the MN Department of Commerce.


Coordinate volunteers and communications, process registration and payments.  Prepare supplies for monthly educational programs and yearly conferences. Speak publically for program announcements and introductions. Programs and conferences range in sizes from 30 – 2,000 attendees.


Distribute workload to committee members, track stages and process applications for membership. Invoice and track membership payments as well as yearly dues and renewals.


Tracking donations made by corporations and individuals, developing outreach initiatives and planning trips to possible corporate sponsors and donors.
