Responsibilities: As an RN, I was the leader of a nursing care team  consisting of myself, an LVN, and a CNA. Together we performed daily nursing duties on up to 10 patients. As the RN,  I performed nursing assessments, provided wound care, foley care,     administered IV meds, peg care, relayed important patient information to doctors and other members of health care team, and ensured that my team mates completed their daily responsibilities. As a nursing supervisor, I supervised the nursing staff of the entire hospital, ensuring that staff were completing their daily tasks through rounding and audits. I also assisted our staffing coordinator in staffing issues. Other roles included: doing patient satisfaction rounds, being a first responder to code situations, being a resource for the floor staff, helped resolve conflicts between staff and patient and family complaints, and assisted in monthly audits.
