24West is currently looking to fill a summer music marketing internship position. Our company is a music marketing firm that works primarily in the worlds of digital marketing and brand activations. We work with a diverse array of artists and each of our campaigns are fully tailored to the needs and budget of the specific client, meaning that interns will be exposed to many different aspects of the marketing world. And we can offer college credit!

Requirements and Internship Details:
– Must be able to work from our office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn 2-3 days per week.
– Must be able to provide own laptop.
– Candidate will research and find contacts for both local and national press outlets, event promoters and brands.
– Candidate will help to organize, maintain and grow our contact databases.
– Candidate will function as a project management assistant on digital asset builds.
– Candidate will help with maintenance and strategy for 24West’s social media presence.
– Candidate will sit in ideation meetings for clients to help formulate best practices and strategy for said client.
– Candidate will assist on brand activations, experiential marketing and digital initiatives and press campaigns.
– Candidate will assist on social media analysis and planning for our clients.

Candidate Characteristics
– Must be tech-savvy and possess an interest in working in the entertainment marketing and/or public relations field.
– Should be interested and up-to-date in the newest and buzzworthy mobile applications and music websites.
– Should have a ‘finger on the pulse’ of what new trends are occurring in the music world.
– Must be familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
– Familiarity with Photoshop a plus.
– Must be driven and excited about the prospect of gaining applicable knowledge about the world of music marketing.
