Overview

Coordinates and consolidates all outgoing food items from the kitchen assuring Clevelander standards of plate presentation/timeliness and food quality are met.
Duties: • Completes assigned side-work duties (opening, closing, ongoing)
• Completes all plate presentations per Clevelander standard recipes and plate presentations
• Coordinates food delivery time with food runners
• Serves as the last line of defense by ensuring proper food temperature, quality, garnish and time
• Maintains cleanliness in assigned station and or stations
• Observes clean as you go cooking procedures
• Communicates with kitchen, host and service staff to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Assists in preparation of kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Follows all sanitation procedures in accordance with state regulations
• Ensures expo stations are properly stocked and cleaned
• Ensures only food items with an associated order ticket leave the kitchen
• Assists in maintaining the appropriate levels in the expo station i.e., plates, silverware, trays, garnishes
• Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures
Qualifications: 18 years old, High school diploma or 2 years related experience preferred

Flexible schedule required

Nights/Weekend/Holiday hours will be required

Food Handler Certification – Preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to verbally communicate and take direction
• Ability to multitask in high stress situation
• High level of energy
• Basic reading and math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
