Overview

Role Description:

Clifton’s Republic is a legendary eatery and nightlife destination, featuring 6 floors of entertainment and an experiential maze of food and beverage options. As a floor manager, your role is to manage daily functions, oversee employee activity and handle customer inquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities:

Manage employee schedules
Train and supervise staff
Manage and coordinate equipment installations, testing & upgrades i.e. marketplace, work/service stations & juice bar, POS maintenance and upgrades, storage rooms, communication systems.
In collaboration with HR, make sure that requirements are met for employees, such as break room, lockers, uniforms, restrooms, legal disclaimers
Follow opening procedures and protocols, re-shifts and quality circles, VIP assignment, bottle service protocols and procedures, door flow and crowd control and closing procedures and protocols

Job Requirements:

3+ years of work experience; preferably in a high volume bar, night club, restaurant or retail environment
Experience in maintaining compliance across all area, i.e. California and Federal Law training, Labor Law compliance for breaks and workplace Compliance and ongoing documentation
Must be eligible to work in the United States and have a Food handler’s card
Excellent communication skills written/verbal
Customer service focused and solution oriented
Thrives under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on Clifton’s needs
Sophisticated and creative and holds themselves and teams to a high standard
Hours: Must be flexible and available to work nights & weekends
Passion for architecture and history a plus
