Overview
Create is looking for an intern to work with our team full time during our Summer Internship (June 1 – August 31).
Details:
Intern will assist our distribution team with daily operations on Label Engine, our online platform. Frequent duties include but are not limited to: queuing music releases, inputting publishing data, playlist management, and working on artist features/marketing projects. Day-to-day office tasks include but are not limited to running staff errands, updating spreadsheets, and other administration work.
You must be willing to treat every experience as an opportunity to grow. In turn, you will gain exposure to collaborating with music distribution platforms, and you will begin to establish your own network of industry connections.
Applicant must:
– Be passionate about and have an open mind towards all genres of music.
– Be driven towards a career in the music and/or entertainment industry.
– Be proficient/familiar with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
– Be punctual and dependable.
– Be well-versed on all social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook).
– Be a student or recent college grad.
Bonus points:
– Have interest in record label operations.
Compensation: A small reimbursement stipend will be given at the end of each full month worked. Academic credit is also available.
