Overview

We are seeking a full time Technical Support and Operations Assisgtant in our New York City office to assist in coordinating all operations logistics and provide technical support both internally and to our customers .  The Technical Support and Operations Manager role functions to help ensure all facets of company operations including order control, supply chain management, inventory, as well as customer service and support operate in the most organized manner possible.  You will handle customer inquiries and keep all customers updated with the most current information about their orders, as well as help ensure internal efficiency by keeping strict inventory of equipment. The role will also function to provide excellent technical support in operation, setup, and troubleshooting of our rental equipment which includes laptop computers, transmitters, and MyDMX lighting software.

Responsibilities

Efficient and organized order control, including a constant contact cycle with both our customers and manufacturers.
Testing incoming and outgoing equipment, ensuring that all equipment is working properly, and taking the necessary steps toward a solution should there be any malfunctions.

Becoming familiar with our equipment line, technology, and software (MyDMX Lighting) as to assist and provide support to customers in setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Shipping products and equipment on time, and ensuring that all rental equipment is returned after customer use.

Becoming familiar with the functionality and capabilities of our entire product line.
Ensuring the best possible experience for all customers before, during, and after the order is placed by being as available and helpful as possible

Implementing the most efficient and organized inventory system possible, as to keep track of all equipment that is both in-house and out for use.

Requirements

BA/BS in Business, Communications, IT, or a related field.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively with customers and with members of our team.

Excellent punctuality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.

Technical lighting experience is a plus.

Proficiency using Google Suite products.

The abilities to both multi-task in day to day operations, and to handle multiple ongoing projects in an organized and efficient manner
