If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then we want you to apply for a News Writer for Dancing Astronaut internship. Contributing to Dancing Astronaut will give you an unparalleled opportunity to test your skills on the front lines of the music world and to work with some of your favorite artists. Get the internship, and a month from now you might be conducting an interview backstage with Dillon Francis or Tiësto. More than anything else, you will be immersed in the world of dance music – and learn a lot about the industry while you’re at it. Internship Description Summary The Contributing Writer will generate written content under the guidance of the editorial team.  Responsible for the maintaining of timely content as it appears on the Web site. Interns will be responsible for writing about music releases, current events, as well as providing coverage of concerts and conducting interviews. Skills: – Fluency in English language and composition – Computer literacy – An ability to adapt to using new Web tools and services – A self-motivated attitude towards sourcing the latest dance music news and music releases – Reports to: Editor-in-Chief/VP of Content Location: Online Bona-fide Occupational Qualifications: Due to the nature of the music industry and its related age restrictions, we are only accepting applications from those aged 21 and above.
