Overview
Experience and Education Required for the Engineering Manager position:
The candidate for this position should have 5-10 years experience designing audio/consumer products. The candidate must have a B.S. degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field.
Key Job Responsibilities and Technical Experience Requirements:
This candidate would manage the engineering of numerous projects. This candidate would determine the most appropriate platform for a given product design, would staff the project accordingly, would work with project managers to reach aggressive schedule deadlines and would manage products through and after the development cycle. Experience with Asian manufacturers is preferred. Knowledge of the installation market is preferred.
Good communication skills are required to work as part of a team. Job location is at our headquarters in Cumberland, RI (about an hour from Boston, MA).
