Overview
EDM World is looking to hire a remote shop manager. The shop manager at EDM World Shop approves design collection ideas, individual designs, and sets deadlines for collections and individual designs. The shop manager uploads clothing pieces to the shop and is responsible for ensuring the pieces go live at the appropriate times.
-Be willing to learn to use a wide variety of programs, including Shopify & Trello, to ensure the teams’ success.
-Communicate with vendors when issues arrive in a professional manner
-Have knowledge of design in order to support designers and ensure only quality designs are posted.
-Work closely with designers to ensure they meet deadlines
-Support designers in any way they need
-Provide some customer service support through email
-Help create & run ad campaigns for the store with our social media team
-Provide end of month reports to show growth/loss
-Understand how to calculate profit margins
-Must know how to use Excel
– Ability to quickly adapt, implement, and work on a variety of writing tasks at the same time
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills: This is SUPER important as we are a digital-only company and all communication is done online
– Loves the idea of working at home, flexibility to work on your own time, and enjoys attending meetings online
– Eager to surround yourself with other talented and motivated leaders in the industry
– Has remarkable attention to detail
– Is capable of completing tasks from a personal working laptop and has a reliable internet connection as this is a work from home internship (we do not have an office)
– Can truly commit to working 2 hours a day (14 hours per week)
– Is a go-getter and completes tasks before they are due to always keep us hitting our goals
– Can follow directions, templates, systems, policies, and procedures already in place
–This is a non-paid internship
