Global Account Director
SFX Entertainment, Inc. is the largest global producer of live events and digital entertainment content focused exclusively on electronic music culture (EMC) and other world-class festivals. SFX’s mission is to enable EMC by providing fans with the best possible live experiences, music discovery and digital connectivity with our content and the broader EMC community. SFX was born out of the technology revolution, as the music industry evolved into DJ- and producer-led creations driven by social and digital consumer media. SFX produces and promotes a growing portfolio of live events that includes leading brands such as Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Mysteryland, Sensation, Stereosonic, Electric Zoo, Disco Donnie Presents, Life in Color, Nature One, Mayday and Ruhr-in-Love. SFX also operates Beatport, the principal online resource for EMC DJs and a trusted destination for the growing EMC community to discover and stream music, follow DJs and keep abreast of news, information and events, in addition to offering year-round entertainment to EMC fans around the globe through other digital assets.
Job Description:
This role will work on a fast-paced global account. In this capacity, this person will partner with a cross-discipline agency team including account management, planning, media, marketing strategy, data analytics, creative and production – to centrally advise and oversee best-in-class integrated programs for national and international mobile markets, partnering closely with SFX Entertainment leadership. It is critical that this person has strong international acumen, the ability to manage a high volume of projects concurrently, build trusted partnerships with clients and within the agency team, can lead the global development and implementation of innovative campaigns and has a proven ability to drive business outcomes. In addition, on a daily basis this position requires superior account management skills, including the ability to establish relationships remotely, strong team leadership, 360 experience, disciplined financial stewardship and the ability to grow business.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisor
Oversee development of regional programs to ensure alignment with brand
Efficient development of assets to execute best-in-class programs
Partners closely with Agency leadership to promote and enforce best practice processes to ensure consistency at a global level
Provides guidance and recommendations
Understanding of client’s essential business issues, target audiences, and marketing goals
Identifies opportunities and formulates plans to exploit them to drive/extend the client’s and agency’s business
Understands the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of a complex, revenue-driven international client organization
Works well with international clients
Recognizes and advances innovative ideas based on client need and agency objectives
Foresees and corrects for potential client-facing and agency-internal issues
Manages client expectations and objectives for the agency
Reviews and interprets regular revenue analyses provided by the agency finance team
Monitors overall status of client profitability and takes active steps to reverse any profit shortfalls
Leads and inspires agency team
Builds day-to-day partnerships
Uses agency resources creatively to support the client’s business
Ensures overall quality of agency work
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years agency experience, including deep international experience
Proven track record of strong client relationships
Built strong teams and retained highly regarded agency staff
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
