Overview

Our internships provide on-the-job training by allowing interns to shadow industry professionals in a variety of departments. Every intern is assigned a special project that will both assist them in increasing their understanding of how each department operates, and aid the department in addressing a business need. Maek values its interns and works to ensure a mutually rewarding experience.

Please keep in mind that Maek internships are unpaid

Responsibilities:

Pitching Maek projects and its artists to numerous media outlets and securing press opportunities
Creating value-content press releases
Maintaining and updating press kits
Coordinating gifting and project initiatives to celebrities and influential fashion bloggers.
Work as a Brand Ambassador to draft and implement creative initiatives and ideas to drive brand awareness.
Maintaining social communication within the Brand’s voice over a multitude of social networks with 50k+ followers
Monitor and report to management, social media analytics such as page views, click-through rates, follower growth rates.
Organize and assist management in planning promotional events such as trunk shows, pop up shops, fashion shows, and charity events.
To qualify for an internship with Maek you must:

Strong passion for fashion
Be 18 years or older
Be a junior in college with a focus in fashion, advertisement, public relations, marketing or music business
Be able to create detailed long-term/short-term campaigns for music  business projects
make a commitment of at least 15 hours per week
EITHER have a major related to fashion, music business OR express how your experience and passion in music business translates to this position
