We are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to provide financial support to Ministry of Sound & HedKandi Tours and Events.

Key responsibilities:

Complete, with some assistance, monthly management accounts and report all variances
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Update detailed year end forecasts on a weekly basis
Weekly reporting & analysis of the department’s performance via Flash Reports
Prepare the annual budgets with the help of the GFC/Club FC
Assist management in improving the profitability of their business
Managing and auditing costs
Production of ad-hoc project P&L’s and Financial Models based on different scenarios
Assist completion of Statutory Accounts and Audit Files, liaising with Auditors
Regular review of procedures, identifying and developing new controls and reporting tools, including Performance Management and KPI’s
Provide support to Events team
Ensuring effective and up to date management of CRM system
Ensuring completion of weekly target sheet updates and prospects with the events team, working with Events GM
Assist Club Financial Controller where necessary and ensure reciprocal finance management coverage over Club and Events where required.

Person specification:

Relevant experience in finance preferably in events, music or retail
Entry/intermediate level of accountancy qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) would be advantageous, although not essential
Strong data input & administration ability. Excel experience essential
Shows excellent attention to detail with high standards of delivery
Driven, self-motivated and pro-active. Has a can do attitude to tasks and projects. Achieves objectives and gets results, in the right way
Team player with an inclusive and collaborative approach. Is happy and able to work with others
Innovative, always striving for things to be done better and thinks creatively of new ways of doing things to get results
