If you have a passion for music, a background in writing and a working knowledge of social media, we want to hear from you. Mix 247 EDM is seeking a Content Writer Intern to work on the station’s website covering the Electronic Dance music scene. Duties: Blog about edm music for Mix 247 EDM including tour announcements, show previews, concert reviews, record reviews, news updates, and more.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a familiarity with the electronic dance music community and a robust knowledge of current music in general. The ability to monitor trends both locally and nationally and pitch coverage relevant to our audience — both short form as well as long-form — is essential. Qualified candidates will have a background in music and music journalism (editing experience is a plus), must be conversant with the music blogosphere for information-gathering, and must have a working knowledge in online publication platforms (specifically WordPress).

This is a UNPAID intern position, with the opportunity of becoming a full time team member The hours are flexible, meaning that this can be part-time or full depending on your specific situation.
