Overview

This is an entry level PR assistant position with room to grow within an energetic independent music and entertainment PR office. This person will help manage the offices and accounts of LiveLoud Media.  Job involves assisting the LiveLoud PR team in the day-to-day publicity and social campaigns of its client roster –  including national tours, special events/music festivals, and philanthropic projects. This person will help the PR team track client press and manage client content, manage guest lists, database upkeep, manage internal and client social channels, press release email distributions, special event prep, occasional onsite event work, assembling proposals, decks, and more. This person will interface with our internal team, our clients, and their related teams – artists, promoters, managers, agents, etc. Candidate will also manage general office needs – managing supplies, answering phones, maintaining office, etc. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, excited about music, organized and extremely detail-oriented. Previous PR or music industry experience a plus.

Desired Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Computer adept.  Will usethe following applications: Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, Google Drive, WordPress, all major social media channels. Previous experience with FileMaker Pro a plus
• Candidate must be personable, extremely organized, professional, dependable and detail-oriented
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a high threshold for multi-tasking
• Salary commensurate with skills/experience

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Answer phones and oversee general office operations(office machines, supplies, etc.)
• Manage LL media databases
• Manage office systems – tour date updates, guest lists, email distributions, client reporting/press clips/other content
• Help with LiveLoud websites and social media as needed
• Assist with special event/festival prep and provide onsite support on occasion
