Overview
The Promoter position will be an integral part of the attending clientele at Double Barrel. Promoters are responsible for providing avenues for the public to become aware of ongoing and upcoming events through promoting by word of mouth, mass e-mails, text messages, phone calls, attending local networking events and consistently being involved and advertising on social media sites. Ideal candidates will process a strong creative sense for developing and marketing ideas and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Act as an ambassador of the venue, marketing the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base.
Actively market the venue through available social media outlets, as per the Company’s Marketing Requirement Plan.
Aware of the impact of individual behavior on the venue as a whole, present oneself as a public relations steward at all times.
Collect customer information for the venue database while constantly striving to increase the size of your personal clientele.
Exhibit and execute a complete knowledge of the venue’s sequence of service and selling technique, mastering the service of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Constantly provide customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each.
Grows revenue by maximizing available space, up selling, and upholding table minimums at all times.
Possess the ability to strike up conversation with a stranger.
Develops a strong relationship with casino marketing department, generating incremental business inside of the venue.
Welcomes all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, according to the established venue sequence of service.
Work with the same degree of urgency to assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
Works with a high level of professionalism towards all customers, ensuring their return to the venue.
Communicates with management and service staff immediately to rectify any and all customer needs, requests, comments or incidents.
Must have a strong working knowledge of social media marketing.
Must be willing to learn how to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience marketing nightclubs (or similar venues), bringing in guests and making reservations in a restaurant or lounge.
All staff members must be self-motivated, constantly striving to improve their knowledge of marketing, and promotions.
Must possess knowledge of basic math, including the ability to use a calculator.
Must exhibit the ability to work well with others.
Must exhibit a focused attention to detail, while working in a high-pressure environment.
Must be professional and courteous at all times.
Must be able to communicate using chain of command.
Must be able to maintain excellent customer service skills while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.
Must be a self-motivated learner, who performs tasks with extreme care, concern and detail.
Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pound boxes or flyers.
Must be physically able to walk and or stand without assistance on varied surfaces for an extended period of time.
