Overview
Responsibilities:
Focus is on, but not limited to the following:
Knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and digital applications.
Cutting edge design aesthetic that is adaptable to both company brand guidelines as well as evolving marketing platforms
Assist with developing brand guidelines, promotional templates, back up pre-press and other team members and departments when needed/requested
Knowledge of current and developing web technologies and design trends
Knowledge and Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign and Dreamweaver required
Knowledge and Proficiency in Flash, Sublime Text, After Effects / Motion Graphics as well as HTML / CSS / Java Script a plus
Ability to create email blasts / newsletters
Ability to take existing artwork and repurpose for use in digital media channels, ie. online banners, electronic invitations and social media platforms
Complete creative/production checklist to ensure all standards and processes were applied to design and production work. Take job specifications into consideration in designing options for marketing communications
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years experience working in high volume, deadline driven environment
Must have experience managing multiple large projects
Attention to details, able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Excellent people customer service skills. Must like to work with and interact with a variety of individuals and be able to take recommendations, make changes requested and not take requests for changes personally. Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
Must possess thorough understanding of the print process and vendor requirements to correctly prepare files for print
Must possess a diverse portfolio exhibiting a wide range of entertainment and consumer driven commercial design
