Overview

Responsibilities:
Check for overall venue safety.
Check identification to ensure guests are over 21.
Assist in insuring and communicating cover control.
Welcomes all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, according to the established venue sequence of service.
Assist with nightly opening and closing duties.
Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs. Work with the same degree of urgency to assist other team members when the opportunity arises.
Works with a high level of professionalism towards all customers, ensuring they will return to the nightclub.
Document all reportable incidents.
Appears in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled times.
Adheres to all established policies, procedures and guidelines.
Creates and maintains a sense of urgency.
Complies with all state and federal liquor laws.
Follows all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of experience in a high volume, nightlife environment.
Must exhibit the ability to work well with others.
Must exhibit a focused attention to detail, while working in a high-pressure environment.
Must be able to maintain excellent customer service skills while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.
Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral. Multilingual skills are a plus.
Must possess a valid Nevada non-gaming card, alcohol awareness card and a health department card.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.
Must be able to stand or walk a maximum eight-hour shift.
Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
Must maintain a pleasant, outgoing and energetic personality.
Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds and manually push/pull up to 250 pounds.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights and dust and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
