Overview

The promotions manager is in charge of training and assisting employees to promote club events. The promotions manager is also responsible for generating ideas to increase venue traffic.

Responsibilities:
Development of competitive promotional plan in order to increase business levels and sales for assigned outlet.
Assist in the development and maintenance of sales and promotion requirements.
Attends regularly scheduled outlet management meetings.
Maintains customer reservations, data management, requisitions and purchase orders for assigned outlet.
Assists with preparation and presentation of assigned outlet annual budget, business plans and program performance to Director of Promotions.
Maintains customer reservations, data management, requisitions and purchase orders.
Manages a staff of promoters on a daily basis, tasks included but not limited to: scheduling, terminations, hiring, training and monitoring sales gained through promotions.
Stays in tune with latest industry trends and interests ensuring that outlet club promotions are in line or exceeding current.
Ensures that high-end clients are taken care of while visiting assigned outlet.
Consistently encourages team to gain attendance to assigned club events by using mass emails, texts, phone calls, word of mouth and social media.
Establishes, implements, and monitors product, labor, and expense cost controls for department and assigned outlet nightlife promotions program.
Providing functional leadership as well as strategic support for promotions team, Director of Promotions, internal customers and vendors, including agencies.
Gathering business objectives from outlet operation teams and proposing marketing solutions to help achieve them.
Conducts weekly marketing tracking to include- guest correspondence, guest list returns and social media activity.
Conducts weekly meetings to review outlet promoters’ performance and upcoming initiatives.
Maintains the integrity of outlet promotions.
Continually strive to develop the promotions team in all areas of development; sales techniques, product knowledge, incentives and employee engagement.
Lead outreach programs with team to generate presence and networking.
Create a positive and fun work environment.
Regularly walking the floor interacting with guests and employees.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.

Qualifications:
A minimum of one (1) or more years of Nightclub experience, preferably in a Promotions Manager capacity for high-end luxury nightclubs
A minimum of two (2) or more years working in the capacity of a nightclub promoter
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to act as a team leader with minimal supervision
Most possess demonstrated Customer Service skills and is able to deal with both high profile and difficult guests
Must be able to work under deadlines and pressures while maintaining excellent time management skills
Must possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals, associates and/or venue guests
Proven ability to study, nightclub marketing trends to ensure that SLS clubs are leading the club scene
Knowledge of team motivation and change management required
Demonstrated ability to gain club sales by creating unique promotional campaigns
Must be 21 years of age or older
