We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced DBA to join our IT CRM team. This role is largely responsible for providing operational database services to the CRM team and sbe organization. Some of the primary responsibilities include owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents, fulfilling ad-hoc query requests and resolving incidents within SLAs, reviewing service related reports on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs, responding to database related alerts and escalations.

Candidates must be self-directed, confident, and able to perform tasks of moderate to high complexity. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate technical issues. Candidates will be expected to help develop technical documents with moderate to complex designs with minimal guidance and fully understand and utilize the appropriate tool set to fulfill various requests.
Responsibilities:
Focus is on, but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the CRM Data Warehouse and ETL processes associated with the project; will work closely with the CRM Team and associated vendors as necessary
Write complex stored procedures and SQL queries, along with other SQL Server design, admin and development skills
Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking/ deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
Ability to interpret and remediate issues through log reviews, system monitors and vendor case management
Ongoing performance tuning and query optimization using various performance and monitoring tools; reorganize database structures as needed
Create and maintain technical documentation for both implementation planning and steady state support of new and existing systems
Work in various-sized teams to design, build, debug and maintain existing applications
Complete thorough functional and technical evaluation of products and database patches and upgrades
Administrative tasks include installation, service packs and hot fixes, log shipping
Development of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, and data migration and clustering; maintain database schemas and data documentation
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in database support in MS SQL Server environments or relevant work experience
Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server 2008 R2
Knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching and statistics
Ability to write/ troubleshoot stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes and constraints
Knowledge of SQL Server Tools (Profiler, SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, etc.)
Knowledge with Windows server, security delegations, SPNs and storage components
Experience working in a team environment; willingness to share DBA knowledge and mentor jr. team members
Experience in a development environment as well as production support
Familiarity with VMware and managing SQL databases in a virtualized environment
Application knowledge of Visio 2010, Opera PMS/ ORS (Oracle/ Linux), Bally ACSC, Micros 3700/ Simphony, Open Table, Delphi, MySQL, Salesforce or other CRM Tool preferred
Previous experience working in SOX and PCI Compliant environments preferred
