Position Summary

The Sponsorship Sales Manager based out of Miami, Florida, is responsible for developing strong, long-lasting relationships with sponsorship partners in local markets in order to meet revenue targets. This role is also responsible for execution of local efforts related to global partnership relationships.

Utilize creative and traditional outreach to effectively exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for SFX events
Research and develop a list of potential sponsors to pursue for event sponsorship placement
Develop and execute on plans for live event and digital platform sponsorship objectives
Oversee contract process; working with legal team to prepare LOIs and contracts
Maintain deep relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors
See deals through from discussion to sign off on terms
Work with colleagues to ensure execution and delivery of sponsorship terms
Forecast, track and report on sales metrics and progress
Work with Event stakeholders to maintain clear communication and awareness of sponsorship activities
Ensure Event brand values and guidelines are understood and followed through sponsorship arrangements

Qualifications Profile

5+ years related sponsorship sales experience
Relevant live events experience is a plus but not a must
Ability to sell experience/lifestyle oriented collaborations rather than metrics driven collaborations
Appreciation for brand guidelines and artistic integrity
Proven experience developing sales relationships that grow over time
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
Strong time management skills, high level of organization
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to travel 10 – 25% of the time
