WHAT YOU’LL DO

-Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in the digital music space, while creating unique partnership campaigns to further expose our platform and community of creatives
-Develop and manage a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the SKIO Music sales process
-Sell and promote the SKIO Music service to customers, including artists, talent managers and record labels
-Generate and achieve monthly content and user acquisition forecasts
-Conduct weekly progress meetings with sales team
-Frequently interact with supervisors and managers
-Participate in strategic and tactical planning for SKIO Music business development team
-Recommend new digital tools and partnerships with upcoming platforms
-Assist in the brainstorming and development of new PR campaigns for the labels and its artists
-Work closely with artists and their management to develop and execute their vision for digital marketing campaigns
-Ability to research new trends, platforms and industries outside of music entertainment
-Promote positive working relationships and teamwork within the Business Development Team with an emphasis on communication
MUST HAVES

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-College/university degree or substantial experience in the field
-Knowledge of SKIO Music policies, procedures, services and sales cycle
-Ability to relate to customers and understand their needs
-Understands business drivers and their relationship to SKIO Music services
-Proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline
-Excellent account management skills, including skills to analyze, qualify, position, justify, and close
-Prior successful sales record and a desire to succeed
-Minimum of 3 years sales experience (preferably in tech or entertainment)
-Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously on assigned projects
-Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong attention to detail
-Strong work ethic — must be able to work overtime on projects with tight deadlines
