Overview

Responsibilities:
Promotion & Marketing:
Getting airplay/ adds at radio to get the exposure that the current artist needs to sell records.
Setting up radio promotions with radio stations.
Talking to local video shows, getting play at local clubs as well as non-monitored radio stations.
Covering the artists when they’re out on the road via: tour dates or promotional tours.
Managing the street teams in various markets.
Visiting retail stores to help the visibility and word of mouth on a current artist’s project.

Administrative:
Analyzing R&R and BDS reports to find out where our current record is to date and using them for strategy/information.
Creating fliers to send out to various radio/lifestyle accounts with information.
Creating phone clubs to create requests on a specific artist at radio.
Reports, conference calls, emails, etc.

Relationships:
Building on the relationships that you currently have and creating new ones with radio, retail, lifestyle accounts, club owners, etc.

Qualifications:
5 years related promotion experience
Radio knowledge
Radio and sales programs as well as MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Power Point, Corel Draw)
Must have excellent people skills, organizations, bi-lingual preferred.
Other (Abilities, Travel, Technical, etc.): extensive travel required; flexible schedule
