Overview

Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative support for the Senior Vice President of Digital Sales. This includes but is not limited to screening and directing phone calls and emails, maintaining calendars, organizing meetings, dinners, and other special events.
Coordinate travel and transportation arrangements.
Prepare business expense reports in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Coordinate, maintain, and update account/distribution mailing lists.
Compile, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly partner sales figures and designated reports for the department and labels.
Use sales reporting tools and internal sales reporting systems to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of sales promotions.
Compile and distribute weekly album/single release schedules, TV appearances and syncs, and tour schedules.
Set-up and participate on retail sales/marketing conference calls.
Confirm accuracy and availability of products at major DSPs on date of release.
Research, make record of, and distribute as necessary significant features and placements at the major DSPs in order to analyze and define the strength of the relationship between marketing efforts and product sales.
Make recommendations and manage submission process for regularly occurring partner specific promotions.
Liaise with label sales, operations, digital retailers, and account operations to initiate troubleshooting and resolution of digital release issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, sales or related field
1-2 years administrative experience
Prior experience at a record label or digital music provider strongly preferred.
The candidate should also have a passion for music and the music business.
A qualified candidate should be detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Keynote is a major plus.
Strong and effective written and oral communication skills.
An ability to follow through on all duties.
Calm, positive, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work with all types of personalities, resourcefulness, self-confidence and a sense of humor.
