Overview

Responsibilities

Partner with Chief Business Officer and other business leaders to develop people programs and talent strategies for our US organisation
Work closely with the central HR team in our Berlin HQ to lead client group through core HR cyclical processes (e.g., feedback reviews, compensation planning, happiness surveys)
Work closely with our Recruiting team to onboard new employees in a high growth, high performance environment
Provide coaching to ensure all people managers are equipped to drive employee happiness and well-being
Lead the development of our Compensation and Benefits plans for the US markets in which we operate
Manage our relationships with our external partners, such as benefits providers and payroll
Hands on in full lifecycle administration e.g. contract production, visa and relocation support, benefits enrollment, payroll etc
Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to tricky people problems
Be proactive and work with purpose in everything you do

Requirements

Youve proven your ability as a strategic partner to senior leaders/executives
You have 8-10 years experience in HR or People Operations in a start-up or growth-stage environment
Youre passionate about your work, people and our product
You adapt easily to change and help others understand and deal with complexity and uncertainty
People call you pro-active and innovative in your approach to getting things done, and youre comfortable being hands-on and scrappy when needed
Youre able to challenge the status-quo to achieve a better outcome, yet respectful and willing to learn and adapt to our culture and values
You make quick, smart decisions in a calm way
