Director, Licensing for Bravado
Universal Music Group’s Merchandising Company

Key Deliverables:
Soliciting licensees for Bravado’s roster
Negotiate new deals and renewals
Write up deal memos
Liaise with existing licensees and maintain contact with manufacturers
Coordinate with in-house legal counsel regarding licensee contracts
Work with finance department on quarterly forecasts and annual budget
Track advances and guarantees
Update licensee database
Supervise booking and setup for trade show exhibitions
Oversee timely approvals of licensed product with the creative department

Preferred Skills:
Minimum of three years sales experience in licensing industry
Ability to read and interpret licensing contracts
Strong negotiating skills
Excellent writing and communication skills are a must
Knowledge of music artists, genres, and styles is a plus
Self-starter, self-motivated and takes responsibility/ownership of tasks
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
