Overview
Welcome to the 2015 Lightning Team application for Lightning in a Bottle! Please fill out the information below to the best of your ability. We select based first on those requested by management, or previous festival or relevant experience. If you are applying for a department that requires further information, we will reach out to you. At the end of this application, you will be taken to a checkout to pay a $5 one-time application processing fee through paypal.
You will hear back from us in a couple weeks regarding the status of your application. No need to email us please unless you are having technical difficulties.
If you are accepted to be a part of our Lightning Team for this year, you will receive an acceptance letter, along with a link to purchase your festival pass for $260. Upon completion of your scheduled Lightning Team work shifts, you will be refunded the full $260 after the festival.
Volunteer Positions include:
- Bartending Team (must be able to provide bartending certificate upon request)
- Box Office Greeters (Greeting festival goers at the box office, managing lines)
- Build Team: All build positions are pre-event at the festival grounds at Lake Bradley, and you will be able to camp onsite. Build team applicants must provide resume to be selected for build team this year)
- Campground Manager Assistant (helping our Campground Managers keep the campgrounds clean, safe, and help campers place tents)
- Culinary/Food Service (must have CA food handlers certification)Green Team (helping us green and clean up the Festival grounds)
- Groundskeeper/Fence Installation Team (must be able to pound stakes, install fencing, and be used to working outside for long hours.)
- Lightning Team Coordinator Support\/Floater (Assisting in open spots onsite as needed. Must be willing and able to be thrown into anything as our needs often change day by day on site)
- Merchandise and Ice Vending
- Production Assistant: (previous experience as a Production Assistant required and must have car, current registration and insurance, valid drivers license, and laptop)
- RV Placement and Shuttles (helping campers into their RV spots, and campers with their gear on and off the shuttles. Heavy lifting involved)
