Full time federal position under career appointment. Directly assists customers and applicants with questions, issues and handles escalations. Originally placed as front desk reception after being picked up just before ending my temporary appointment with OCHR. During my time as reception I would directly address customer/employee issues and provide the best assistance possible, schedule appointments, verify employment identification. Conduct identity confirmation via the Everify system. Organize, plan and host ‘New Employee Orientation’ for new hires after they had completed the on-boardng process. After 8 months, was promoted and moved from front desk to a staffing HR position.

As a staffing HR Tech, I directly process new hire paperwork and new employees. From the beginning of the employment process to the day that they start. HR Techs are responsible for hosting our orientation and training new hires brought on for our direct code. I continue to assist with the front desk operations as well as take phone calls for current employees that require HR assistance.
