I was searching for career paths within Marketing and was found the opening at Beatport. My love for music and business, along with the want to be the best, greatly interests me in this position. My educational background in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at CSUMB, along with my professional experience in sales and music marketing, makes me an excellent candidate for this position.
As you will see from the enclosed resume, I have about four years of experience in sales. Along with the sales experience, I have worked as an Audio Visual Technician for two years at Pebble Beach Resorts. Working there has made me pay close attention to detail since our customers always deserved the best experience possible. My resume shows that I have been consistently rewarded for hard work with promotions and increased responsibilities. These rewards are a direct result of my expertise in giving great customer service, my commitment to personal and professional excellence, and my excellent written and oral communication skills.
What people will not see in my resume is that I am an award winning music producer. I created a marketing plan for myself and am currently in the process of delivering it across all channels. Music and marketing is what I do with all my free time, so I understand the drive one needs to make it in the business. Hopefully breaking away from my regular cover letter will hope to show how bad I want this position.
