Ever since I was a teenager, I have had true appreciation for fashion and music and the way it allows our generation to portray our individuality and creativity by doing something that we are truly passionate for. Now that I am trying to establish myself and my future career I am writing to submit my resume to be part of inspiring millennial’s in the same way fashion, music and festivals has influenced me from the beginning. I recently viewed a conference given by Simon Sinek, a Leadership Expert. The conference was titled “How Great Leaders Inspire Action,” and in this conference Simon describes how customers don’t buy what you do but they buy why you do it. He further explains how the goal is not to just sell people who need what you have or hire people who need a job, but to sell to people who believe what you believe and hire people who believe in what you believe. I know I am the right person for this career because I believe in where EDM has come from and more importantly, I believe in what it stands for and where it is going.
