Description

You specify that you are looking for someone with strong understanding of design, typography and social media, and passion and I believe that I would be the perfect candidate for the job. I currently am employed part-time at Design Spinners in Chatsworth California and I am looking to find a position that may fill the hours that I am not there. Prior to this position I was most recently employed at The Home Improvement Guide as an advertisement designer, where I’ve learned to work on a deadline, interact with a variety of clients, prepare and upload booklets for print before they reached the doorstep of 3 million different homeowners across Southern California. I have previous experience working for RVNNYC, a women’s high end apparel company, as a design intern where my duties were: editing Product Photos in Photoshop, editing Lookbook Photos in Photoshop, editing Product Artwork in Photoshop, updating the Company’s website in Squarespace, taking inventory of products in Excel, driving to different locations in Los Angeles picking up and dropping off samples of products, and picking up lunch for the office. I was also a part of the Regional Occupational Program in Graphic Design at my former High School, Santa Susana Magnet, where my duties where to make posters and programs for the performing arts, being a sectional editor in my school’s national award winning yearbook, and designing posters for such organizations as California Lutheran University and Not One More. In addition to my prior education, I had the the honor of being a featured artist in Gibson’s GuitarTown on the Sunset Strip, where I designed and hand-painted a 9.5x4ft Guitar sculpture that was displayed at the Sunset Strip September 2014. I am seeking out this position in hopes of growing within a company and bringing a modern, innovative eye to any team. Check out my website for my portfolio and resume!
Thank you so much for your time and consideration

Sincerely,
Forrest Holt
