Summary My love for music began when for the first time I experienced it life at my Aunt’s wedding in 1989. Shortly after, I began taking piano lessons, and in 1998 I enrolled in Technical Music School in my city of Rzeszow, Poland. As the main instrument I chose alto saxophone, but also continued studying piano. In 2001 my family and I decided to move to the U.S. in search for a better life. Upon our arrival, I enrolled at Stratford High School, Connecticut, where I met Dr. Mark Ryan, my new music mentor. In my senior year I won Allstate Festival for classical saxophone. This achievement allowed me to meet Lynn Klock, a world-renowned professor of saxophone, and in 2004 I became one of his students at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While in Amherst I began experimenting with computer softwares called Propellerheard Reason, and Avid Pro Tools. Since then, I felt in love with the idea of combining my classical music knowledge with electronically generated sounds.
