Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex, May 2009-Current

  • DJ/MC, Entertain public skaters and make sure everyone is safe and following the rules of the ice.
  • Sound/Lighting Professional, Program and control the sound and light boards, fix any issues with either sound or lights, and oversee the production of any special events involving sound or lighting. – I have overseen two major productions bringing in upwards of $2,000 each for Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex and the Southwest Florida Figure Skating Club.
  • Coach, Teach Figure Skating at all levels to the younger skaters in our facility.
  • Mascot, Dress as a penguin and skate and dance with the young kids.
  • Skate Guard, Make sure the ice is clear and there is no danger that anyone could encounter as well as to keep the public skaters following the ice rules.

  • US National level competitive Figure Skater at the Novice Pair Level.  I skated competitively through US Figure Skating for fifteen years.
  • I am passionate about theater and have participated on stage in numerous shows with the Manatee Performing Arts Center.  “Singin’ in the Rain”  “Chicago”  “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”  “Meet Me in St. Louis”  “Cats”
  • I am the technical director for the annual holiday ice skating show with the Southwest Florida Figure Skating Club and Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex.  I oversee the instillation of any and all lighting, special effects, and scenery, along with the organization and planning required to bring together all technical aspects of life performance.
