Description

My name is Helen Ware, and I am currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. I am declaring as an Electronic Production and Design major. I am a contemporary singer/songwriter with a classical/technical/musical theatre background in vocal performance. I am familiar with the DAWs Reason, Garage Band, and ProTools. I also am accustomed to vocal recording equipment and have been singing in the studios weekly for over three months. I am an accomplished writer and have performed the 3rd place winning poem for my bout at Chicago’s youth slam poetry competition Louder Than A Bomb. I have played on an educated or professional level in almost every genre of music including, not limited to, opera, reggae, blues, musical theatre, jazz, and pop. I am also a trained actor through New Trier High School’s theatre program where I have produced my own play and gone through a six month Meisner intensive. I played leading roles in a multitude of musicals and straight plays, including a straight play performance and the Marriott Theatre. I have also worked jobs on the other side of the stage, being an ambassador for SoFar Sounds and interning at the Chicago 2112 recording studios. I would love to be a part of your company, and my varietal and extensive knowledge of the music industry would be a great asset to your business.
