Description

Having been brought up in Spain in an English speaking family gave me the benefit of developing two fluent languages. When I finished my A-levels I took a gap year and worked the winter season in Austria, St Anton as a Bar man, but was quickly promoted to head bar man. During my time studying at Newcastle University I developed many skills, from personal organisation to working in a team to create presentations for university course work. After graduating from University I decided to begin working in the night life industry as it was something that interested me. For the last two years I have worked for the number 20 Club in the world as voted by DJ Mag, Paradise Club Mykonos as the General Manager during the summer seasons and as the General Manager of a large group of bars and clubs in the French alps during the winter season. I would now like to work for a larger company with a more permanent position all year round.

Education

Newcastle University

2009-2012 Biomedical Sciences, General, Bachelor's Degree

During my last year at university I carried out a research project for my dissertation. While working on this project there was a lot of problem solving due to the area of research. At times there was a lot of time working alone, at other times I was required to work in a team to carry out complex procedures under a specific time limit.
